Back In The Day Bakery

2403 Bull St, Savannah, GA 31401

Opened in 2002, and still bustling in 2022, Cheryl & Griff are doing something right. Back In The Day Bakery has been been chosen the most popular restaurant in Georgia by People Magazine & has been featured in Martha Stewart, The Food Network, Southern Living, Food & Wine as well as the New York Times. So, when I am telling you to go grab a cookie at their walk-up window, I mean it. And when I am telling you to get up early to skip the line, I mean that too. Better yet; if you happen to crave one of their cookies after your trip to Savannah, simply order a batch from the comfort of your home. OR get Cheryl’s cookbook & try to re-create them yourself! :-)

Open Saturday & Sunday 10AM-3PM

Leopold’s Ice Cream

212 E Broughton St, Savannah GA 31401 & 400 Airways Ave, Savannah, GA 31408

Leopold’s Ice Cream is on everyone’s “Must-Try When In Savannah” list. Why? Opened in 1919, it used to be a holiday highlight in Savannah’s finest clubs, and a popular destination after any sort of social gathering. Seeing that Leopold’s Ice Cream was ranked in the Top 10 Ice Cream Parlors in the World, there’s always a line going far around the block. Ultimately, standing in that line, however, is worth it! If you happen to visit Savannah over St. Patrick’s Day, try their famous Guiness Ice Cream!
